In Wolverhampton we want to uncover new ideas and spark conversations in our  communities. We want to bring the creative thinking, imagination and enthusiasm of TED  to our city. Our TEDx event is not organised by TED Conferences but is operated under a  licence from TED. It is 100% funded by collaborators/partners like you with funding and  payment-in-kind offers and is non-profit making.

This year, our live event will be held at the Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton City Centre. The venue  has the capacity for 120 in-person guests, plus all of our talks will be available to watch again and again through You Tube and via the TEDx global channels.

Alongside the programme of talks, we will present a TEDx marketplace where we invite selected  partners to create a place to engage with our audience and speakers, presenting your services and  product in a unique context.

TEDxWolverhampton has a growing social media presence with around 3k followers across Instagram,  Twitter and Facebook.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Our event is called TEDxWolverhampton, where x = independently organized TED event.

At our event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
